Our Family Story
In 1983, my grandfather and grandmother founded Harmony Hill Ranch. Grady & Martha Hallman loved the Texas hill country & wanted a place that they could call home outside of busyness of Houston.
It was my grandfather’s love of Longhorn football and my grandmother’s love of trees, that made HHR the ideal spot for them. We are nestled half way between Houston and Austin, making those Saturday games easy for my grandfather. Im like my grandmother, as I share my her love for our magical trees. The grounds are graced with 300 year old Live Oaks that in my humble opinion make Harmony Hill Ranch one of a kind.
Our name comes from our family’s love of music. Harmony - the combination of simultaneously sounded musical notes to produce a new sound. I guess family is this way too. We are all a bit different, but when strung together make something profound.
We have enjoyed Harmony Hill Ranch as a family for some time and are now opening her doors to let folks come and experience our slice of heaven. Come stay a night or two, or a whole week! Just enjoy.
Joy!
Amenities
Now, we are a working ranch - we’ve got 118 acres that our beautiful Black Angus roam & graze.
We have 13 acres at the center where our 2 houses, Activity Building, tennis court, and swimming pool are located.
HHR can sleep up to 22 folks across the two houses. The houses can be rented separately but the grounds, the pool, tennis court and Activity Building are shared spaces.
Our Activity Building is a great space all kinds of games: cards, pool table, and table tennis.
